Neyzi 2008 Percentile
Find your child's current percentile using Turkey's 2008 national growth reference and see the adult height projection.
About the method
The Neyzi 2008 reference was derived from data of 2391 boys and 2102 girls (Turkish children) by Olcay Neyzi and colleagues. Height percentiles 3rd, 10th, 25th, 50th, 75th, 90th and 97th are published.
Our method calculates your child's current percentile via bilinear interpolation and reports the height corresponding to the same percentile at age 18.

Frequently asked questions
Why is the Neyzi 2008 percentile projection important?
Neyzi 2008 is a Turkish national child-growth reference, so height, weight and BMI interpretation is closer to the local population.
What does dropping percentiles mean?
The trend matters more than one value. Losing multiple percentile bands should prompt growth-velocity review by a clinician.
Does this method calculate final adult height exactly?
No. It projects forward assuming the percentile track is maintained. Puberty timing and bone age can change the result.
Why include weight and BMI?
Weight and BMI can signal nutrition, obesity or underweight patterns. Height prediction should not be interpreted in isolation.
When should we ask a pediatrician?
Ask for evaluation if growth velocity slows, percentile loss is clear, weight changes rapidly, or puberty timing is unexpected.
