Child growth, with science and transparency.
Child Growth was founded to deliver a service that families, sports academies and clinicians in Turkey have long needed: adult height projection and growth pattern analysis for children, using Turkey-specific references and modern scientific methods.
Scientific accuracy
Every prediction rests on formulas from published literature. Khamis-Roche (Pediatrics 1994), Bayley-Pinneau (J Pediatr 1952), Neyzi references (2008) and Tanner mid-parental height — all sourced.
We don't hide uncertainty
Every result is NOT a point estimate but comes with a confidence interval. Pubertal timing, nutrition and health effects are clearly flagged.
KVKK compliant
Data is on Hetzner Germany servers. Children's data is considered sensitive; explicit consent is required and you can delete anytime.
Built with clinicians
The platform is developed with input from pediatrics, pediatric endocrinology and sports medicine specialists. It complements, not replaces, clinical care.
Led by our Scientific Board

Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine — Head, Department of Sports Medicine
Prof. Dr. Bülent Bayraktar has 30+ years of academic experience in sports medicine. He is Head of the Department of Sports Medicine at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine and the founding Dean of Istanbul University's Faculty of Sports Sciences — the first faculty in Turkey to admit students with equal quotas for women and men.
He is the founder and director of Turkey's first "Child Welfare and Child Protection Program in Sports," established at the Turkish Football Federation in 2013. He actively serves on health, performance and education committees at the TFF, the Tennis Federation, and the Weightlifting Federation.
He has served as team physician and head of health boards at Beşiktaş and Galatasaray sports clubs for many years, and pioneered work that led sports sciences to be recognized as an associate-professor field in Turkey.
Artificial intelligence under academic supervision
The platform combines traditional pediatrics and sports-medicine methods (Khamis-Roche, Bayley-Pinneau, Neyzi 2008) with an AI-based foundation: bone-age AI prototype, growth-chart anomaly detection, polygenic-augmented Mid-Parental Height prediction.
All AI modules are developed under Scientific Board supervision. The Clinical Decision Support (CDSS) validation plan, KVKK-compliant data governance and TİTCK regulatory roadmap are documented.
Çocuk Gelişim publishes a structured knowledge layer (llms.txt, llms-full.txt and rich schema.org markup) so AI assistants and search engines can understand and cite it correctly — one of the few Turkish child-health platforms to do so. The goal is to be a trustworthy, transparent reference for child-growth questions in the AI era.
Why this platform?
In Turkey, children average 4-6 pediatric visits per year; a significant portion centers on height and growth concerns. Yet the digital tools available to families are either too primitive or designed for clinicians, far from a parent-friendly experience.
International solutions like BoneXpert lead in bone-age analysis but aren't available in Turkish, have limited KVKK compliance, and are prohibitively priced for small clinics.
Child Growth fills this gap as a three-tier platform: a mobile-first consumer tool for parents, a professional dashboard for sports academies, and a clinical decision-support system for medical practices.
